Information the app handles

The mobile application does not require an account and does not contain advertising. It does not request access to the camera, microphone, contacts, photos or precise location.

When the app connects to dingliswallows.com, the hosting and security systems may automatically process limited technical information such as an IP address, device/browser type, requested page, date and time, and security events. This information is used to deliver the service, protect it from abuse, diagnose faults and maintain performance. It is not used by the Club for cross-app advertising or tracking.

Aggregate website analytics

When analytics are enabled, the Club uses Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate website and app usage, including visitor and pageview totals, popular content, general referral sources, country-level location, and broad device or browser categories. Plausible is configured without tracking cookies and is not used by the Club to identify visitors, follow people across unrelated websites or build advertising profiles.

The Club may measure aggregate actions such as visits to sponsor websites, event-registration clicks and sponsorship enquiries. Sponsors may receive summary figures for a stated reporting period, but they do not receive visitor-level records, IP addresses or individual browsing histories from the Club. Logged-in website administrators are excluded from analytics where the integration provides that control.

A rounded, date-labelled aggregate may be displayed publicly as “Club Reach”. This figure is copied from a verified private report and does not reveal information about an individual visitor.

Information you choose to provide

If you contact the Club by email or use a linked registration form, you may choose to provide information such as your name, contact details and message. That information is used only to respond to the enquiry, administer the relevant event or service, and meet applicable legal or organisational obligations.

External services and links

The app may open external services—such as the Malta FA Match Centre, Facebook, Google Forms, email or map services—in the device’s browser or relevant application. Those services operate under their own privacy policies. The Dingli Swallows FC app does not receive passwords or account credentials used with those services.

Offline storage

The app and website may store limited page files, preferences and cached content on the device so pages load faster and previously opened content can remain available during a connection interruption. Users can remove this information by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app.

Children and young people

The app contains information about youth football but does not knowingly provide child accounts or ask children to submit personal information within the app. A parent or guardian should contact the Club for youth-related enquiries.

Sharing and retention

The Club does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that host, secure, deliver or measure the aggregate use of the website, or disclosed when required by law. Enquiry information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was supplied and for applicable legal or administrative requirements. Aggregate analytics reports may be retained for historical comparison and sponsorship reporting.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information held by the Club, or object to certain processing. You may also clear cached app data or uninstall the application at any time.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app, website or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
